Internship Opportunity

The Project Team for the "Thessaloniki International Fair 2026" at the Empassy of Japan in Greece is seeking interns/part-time staff (unpaid) to assist with event planning, management, public relations, and social media content creation. 

Job Description / Responsibilities 

Tasks will be assigned based on your skills and experience and may include: 

  • Support research using publicly available sources (newspapers, etc.) 

  • Support event planning and operations (preparation, on-site assistance, etc.) 

  • Support PR activities on the Embassys social media platforms (Instagram, X, Facebook, etc.) 

  • Support planning and creating social media content (text, images, videos, etc.) 

  • Drafting various documents, performing data entry, and assisting with administrative tasks 

  • Other duties related to event implementation 

 

Qualifications 

Required 

  • Over 18 years old 

  • Basic PC skills (Word, Excel, email, etc.) 

  • Strong communication skills (English required; knowledge of Greek or Japanese is a plus) 

  • Interest in event planning and public relations 

 

Preferred 

  • Experience with social media management  

  • Skills in image and/or video editing (Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools, etc.) 

  • Knowledge of Japanese, English, and Greek 

  • Students are welcome (undergraduates, vocational school students, etc.) 

 

Working Hours / Format 

Weekdays: 15-20 hours per week 

Weekends: none in principle 

Workdays: negotiable 

Work format: on-site at the Embassy
