Participation of the Hellenic Sinology Center in the 2026 World Internet Conference Asia-Pacific Summit

The Hellenic Sinology Center was honored to participate in the 2026 World Internet Conference Asia-Pacific Summit, held in Hong Kong from 12 to 14 April 2026, through the contribution of its Executive Director, Professor Elena Avramidou.
Professor Avramidou took part in the Forum on the Digitalization and Dissemination of Classical Texts, where she presented on the topic “Classical Texts in the Digital Age: Preservation, Access, and Dissemination.
” Her intervention focused on the opportunities and challenges created by digital technologies in the preservation, accessibility, and global dissemination of classical and cultural heritage texts. The summit brought together academics, experts, and professionals from around the world to discuss the evolving role of digital innovation in culture, education, and heritage preservation.
